China sound absorption thermal insulation sheet Pricelist, Quotes

Kingflex acoustic insulation sheet is open cell elastomeric foam, based on synthetic rubber (NBR). It is a vinyl sound barrier mat loaded with naturally occurring minerals. This Sound Insulating Sheet is free of lead, unrefined aromatic oils and bitumen. It is excellent at reducing the transmission of airborne sound and in enhancing the insertion loss performance of pipe insulation by providing a barrier to noise.

Product Description

Kingflex noise control system to minimise the risk of corrosion under insulation. Combined thermal and noise reduction in a single solution. Significant savings in installation and maintenance costs.
Product Characteristics & Benefits
Kingflex flexible sound absorbing insulation sheet is a kind of universal sound absorbing material with open cell structure, designed for different acoustic application. Kingflex Acoustic Insulation For HVAC Ducts, Air Handling Systems, Plant Rooms And Architectural Acoustics.
  • Excellent internal shock resistance with extensive absorption and dispersion of external stresses in local positions.
  • Avoids material cracking due to stress concentration and hard foamed material cracking caused by impact.
  • Reduces duct and plant room noise substantially.
  • Quick and easy installation - no bitumen, tissue paper or perforated sheet required.
  • Non-fibrous structure with no fibre migration and super silent performance.
  • Extremely high noise absorption per unit thickness.
  • Built-in Microban protection for long lifetime and microbe resistance.
  • High density design to dampen duct rattling & vibration.
  • Self-extinguishing properties, does not drip and does not spread flames.

Frequently Asked Questions
What are the primary benefits of the sound absorbing insulation sheet?
It provides combined thermal and noise reduction in a single solution, minimises the risk of corrosion under insulation, and reduces installation and maintenance costs.
Is the insulation material resistant to fire?
Yes, it features Class 1 and V0 fire resistance ratings (tested under BS476 Part 7 and UL 94 standards). It is self-extinguishing, does not drip, and does not propagate flames.
What densities are available for the insulation sheets?
The material is available in low density (≥160 KG/M3) and high density (≥240 KG/M3) options to suit different acoustic requirements.
Does this insulation release harmful fibers into the air?
No, the insulation sheet is completely fiber-free, meaning there is no fiber dust or migration, making it highly suitable for clean environments and air handling systems.
What is the temperature range application for this product?
Both low-density and high-density sheets have an applicable operational temperature range from -20℃ up to +85℃.
Where is this sound absorbing material typically used?
It is designed for HVAC ducts, air handling systems, plant rooms, and architectural acoustics to effectively dampen vibrations and reduce noise.
