Wholesale NBR PVC pipe insulation is a flexible elastomeric thermal insulation Suppliers, Factory

NBR/PVC pipe insulation is a flexible, elastomeric thermal insulation with smooth skin on the outer surface. The expanded closed-cell structure of the synthetic nitrile rubber makes it an efficient thermal insulator for hot water and air conditioning pipes. Normal wall thicknesses of 1/4”, 3/8″, 1/2″, 3/4″,1″, 1-1/4”, 1-1/2″ and 2” (6, 9, 13, 19, 25 , 32, 40 and 50mm). Standard Length with 6ft (1.83m) or 6.2ft(2m).

Flexible Foam Rubber Insulation Pipe details overview
Product Description

Flexible Foam Rubber Insulation Pipe is a black, flexible elastomeric foam tube used to conserve energy and prevent condensation on piping applications. The tube closed cell properties create exceptional thermal and acoustic insulation. It is designed for the insulation of large surfaces, ideal for the insulation of pipes of large diameters. By reducing the number of sections required they simplify installation, saving on time and labor costs. Facing: Pipe can be covered with aluminum foil and adhesive paper.

Frequently Asked Questions
What is the temperature range for the Flexible Foam Rubber Insulation Pipe?
The temperature range for this insulation pipe is -50°C to 110°C, tested in compliance with standard GB/T 17794-1999. This makes it suitable for both cold and hot piping systems.
How does the closed-cell foam property improve insulation performance?
The closed-cell structure blocks heat transfer and provides exceptional thermal and acoustic insulation. It also creates a highly effective built-in vapor barrier that prevents condensation on large piping surfaces.
What are the fire safety ratings of this insulation material?
The insulation pipe meets BS 476 Part 6 & Part 7 Class 0 and Class 1 standards, and has a Flame Spread and Smoke Developed Index of 25/50 according to ASTM E 84, ensuring excellent fire-blocking and safety.
Does this insulation offer resistance against mold and UV exposure?
Yes. The material demonstrates high resistance to fungi (ASTM 21), ozone (GB/T 7762-1987), and UV/weather exposure (ASTM G23), ensuring long-term durability in outdoor or harsh environments.
Can these pipes be customized with protective facings?
Yes, the pipes can be covered with protective aluminum foil and adhesive paper to enhance mechanical strength, weather resistance, and simplify field installation.
Is the material safe for health during installation?
Absolutely. The foam rubber is safe and non-toxic. It neither stimulates the skin nor poses any hazards to health, making the installation process easy and safe.
