It is specially developed for import/export pipelines and process areas of liquefied natural gas (LNG) facilities, coal chemical MOT, low-temperature storage tanks, FPSO units, industrial/agricultural chemical plants, and nitrogen plants.
The ULT series is recommended for extreme temperatures ranging from -200°C to 125°C, while the LT series is designed for temperatures between -50°C to 105°C.
It is standardly available in two main configurations: 3/4" (20mm) thickness with a size of 10 × 1 (10 ㎡/Roll), and 1" (25mm) thickness with a size of 8 × 1 (8 ㎡/Roll).
According to ASTM D1622 test standards, the ULT series has a density range of 60-80 Kg/m³, while the LT series falls within 40-60 Kg/m³.
Both series feature a high closed-cell area percentage of over 95% (ASTM D2856). The LT series provides exceptional wet resistance (factor μ > 10,000) and a very low water vapor permeability coefficient of 0.0039g/h.m² at 25mm thickness.
The ULT series features a tensile strength of 0.30 Mpa at -100°C (0.25 Mpa at -165°C) and a compressive strength of ≤0.3 Mpa at -100°C. The LT series features a tensile strength of 0.15 Mpa at 0°C (0.218 Mpa at -50°C) and compressive strength of ≤0.16 Mpa at -40°C.
