Explore our premium engineered, high-density closed-cell insulation materials tailored specifically for heavy industrial applications, mechanical HVAC systems, and low-temperature projects.
An in-depth look at cryogenic thermal dynamics, mechanical vapor barrier engineering, and material lifecycle longevity at -162°C (-260°F).
Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) must maintain a constant temperature around -162°C to remain in a liquid state. Ambient heat penetration into pipeline arrays results in the vaporization of LNG, commonly known as Boil-Off Gas (BOG). Controlling this heat leak requires thermal insulation materials with incredibly low thermal conductivity (K-value) at cryogenic temperatures.
Traditional elastomeric foam is augmented via specialized NBR/PVC formulations to remain stable under severe thermal contraction. The closed-cell matrix prevents moisture migration, which would otherwise crystallize into ice, causing structural failure and an exponential increase in K-value.
One of the costliest hazards in cryogenic facility maintenance is Corrosion Under Insulation (CUI). When ambient atmospheric moisture permeates insulation layers and meets cold pipeline steel, water condenses and freezes. Because ice takes up more volume than liquid water, it creates internal mechanical pressure, fracturing the cellular structure of insulation materials.
By leveraging Kingflex Closed-Cell Rubber Foam with a vapor permeability resistance factor (µ) of >10,000, industrial operators establish a permanent, integrated moisture barrier. This eliminates the necessity of additional metallic vapor barrier wraps, significantly lowering overall material and labor costs.

Ideal for large-diameter storage tanks, chemical pipelines, and central HVAC ducting wraps, providing maximum acoustic and thermal damping.
Optimized for tight pipe arrays, chilled water lines, and dual-temperature process tubing where uniform circular coverage is crucial.
How our localized production base in Dacheng, China enables reliable, high-volume shipping to over 66 countries.
Our production facilities are situated in Dacheng, the internationally recognized capital of green-building insulation materials in China. Being centralized in this industrial hub allows Kingflex to source raw materials with extreme cost efficiencies, a saving that we pass directly to our global wholesale partners.
With five high-capacity automatic assembly lines running, Kingflex is designated as a production powerhouse by the Ministry of Energy, the Ministry of Electric Power, and the Ministry of Chemical Industry. This allows us to handle large-scale EPC projects without compromising lead times.
Meeting rigorous international construction standards ensures our products perform safely in every market.
British Standard for fire tests on building materials, guaranteeing Class 0 propagation limits.
Flame retardant polymer verification testing, ensuring self-extinguishing behavior.
Free from hazardous halogens, heavy metals, or toxic chemical outgassing.
Adhering to strict American Society for Testing and Materials standards for cryogenic insulation.
From central business district HVAC grids to petrochemical refining terminals, our products adapt to the harshest environmental constraints.
Widely deployed in commercial buildings, hotels, and hospitals to prevent pipe sweating (condensation) and system thermal loss in large-scale chilled water systems.
Providing custom multi-layer systems for pipelines operating at temperatures as low as -162°C, limiting BOG and protecting structure integrity.
Protecting steam pipelines and dual-cycle hot/cold process lines against chemical exposure, severe ambient UV rays, and structural corrosion (CUI).
